Jayne grew up in Sheffield, Ontario and attended schools in Sheffield and Cambridge and is a graduate of

Lougheed College. Jayne has been a Cambridge resident for more than 45 years.

Retiring after more than 30 years with the Waterloo Region District School Board as the Manager of Corporate

Services where she served as the Board’s Parliamentarian and Corporate Secretary,  Jayne was then elected in

2018 to serve as Trustee for Cambridge & North Dumfries and was then elected Board Chairperson by Trustees for

two terms from 2018-2020. For the last two years Jayne has continued to serve the students and families in her community as both Past-Chairperson and Trustee.

Jayne and her husband enjoy camping and travelling in their RV accompanied by their dog.
